Family ART is a creative session for all ages and family members: parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, honorary members and more. It is an opportunity to be "creative and free with your family tree" in an art environment that focuses on collaboration.
The key to creating collaborative art is accepting the individual gift that each family member brings to the table. Freedom to change is a big part of the creative process when we make art together; it creates opportunities to practice letting go of our ego and expanding trust. Also, young children are especially open to change because they are process oriented. As we grow older we tend to become more goal oriented, which may cause us to loose our ability to be fluid when change takes place. When we create collaboratively with a child, we regenerate our freedom of expression. Collaborative art can be also a bonding experience where dialogue can happen. It has meditative qualities that nurture love and inner peace. All projects are communal and designed with the participants' ages in mind. Guidance will be offered by the facilitator throughout the process. Family Art routine:
Max of 12 people per session. All art supplies included. Facilitator: Fabricia Duell |
